There are approximately 800 million pictures of Sandhill Cranes in the world. So, my photo tip for these birds is to get creative and different. They are big birds that are not easy to get close to. I tend to like the silhouettes and black-and-whites.
If you’ve ever watched Sandhill Cranes come in for a landing, you’ll see that they brake with their wings and stretch out their long legs as if they’re going to crash into the ground, but then dance gracefully as they touch the ground like a ballerina. That’s the picture I would like to see/take!
