Everyone has heard of and seen Thimbleweed’s, but it turns out that are at least four Anemone plants in Indiana that have Thimbleweed as part of their common name.  It’s easy to see how they got the name Thimbleweed because the seed head looks like a thimble before it breaks up and starts dispersing seeds.
